I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Peggy Papillion Monette for over 7 years in multiple capacities. She served as my full-time paralegal while I was a practicing attorney. Later, when I was elected to the Louisiana state legislature, she served as my legislative assistant, eventually becoming my legislative office manager for two locations. I selected Peggy to fill those roles due to her superior organizational skills, legal competency, and problem-solving abilities. After I left the Louisiana legislature, I watched Peggy move on to a highly successful career as a paralegal. I was also proud to see her obtain her juris doctorate from my law school alma mater, the Southern University Law Center. Her training there has only refined her skills and raised her legal acumen. Most recently, Ms. Monette launched Papillion Paralegal. I have no doubt she will use her legal skills obtained as an experienced paralegal and her J.D. to provide best-in-class services.
